It was a gorgeous day today.

70s and sunny.

I got ten hours of sleep (i.e., I slept in), had my quiet time with God, went for a long walk with Mom and Dad, stared up at the tall trees, went for a run, did some homework, went to the beach and saw water stretching out as far as I can see and heard those beautiful sparkling waves rolling onto the white sand and saw jellyfish and lay in the warm sun listening to Fernando Ortega on my MP3, biked all around the island with my sister, finished homework (and felt accomplished), watched some intense Food network television, . . . and did some thinking. Somehow productivity while on vacation is relaxing and invigorating, in contrast to busyness while at home. Why is that?
